SLT distributes books in Jaffna

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national telecommunications service provider, conducted a book distribution program in collaboration with the Asia Foundation in Jaffna recently. Seven hundred books were donated to the nine schools.

The nine schools are Kokuvil Hindu College, Sandilipai Hindu College, Ramanathan Colleg e- Chunnakam, Sri Somaskantha College - Puttur, Union College - Thellipalai, Methodist Girls’ High School - Point Pedro, Vada Hindu Ladies College - Point Pedro, Vempadi Girls’ High School - Jaffna and Central College - Jaffna.

The books cover a range of subjects including Science, Geography, Arts, Sports, Engineering, English Language, for school children of all ages. Books were also given to the University of Jaffna as well as the Jaffna Public Library.
