RUGBY: CR&FC's winger Vishvamithra Jayasinghe polled 308 votes to push Chanaka Chandimal of the Air Force to the fourth place at the Caltex/Sunday Observer Most Popular Rugby Player and the Most Popular Rugger Club competition at the end of count number 8.

Jayasinghe's solo effort helped CR&FC to beat Kandy at the last week's return league match played at Longden Place.

There were no winners among the readers as there were no foils of a Caltex product attached to the coupons.
