Ferroro appoints Delmege to manage traditional trade

Ferrero Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. has appointed Delmege Distributors (Pvt) Ltd. [DDPL], a member of the Delmege Group as the non exclusive local distributor to manage the traditional trade [regular groceries, pharmacies] channel in Sri Lanka. With this tie up, the key confectionery brands of Ferrero, Kinder Joy and Tic-Tac will be available across the island.

"With Delmege taking over the distribution of these products, retail penetration will increase", said CEO, DDPL, Dinesh Nalliah.

Delmege Distributors will focus on Kinder Joy and Tic-Tac for the traditional trade channel. Delmege Group CEO, Dilhan De Silva said "We are proud to be associated with a world class confectionery company such as Ferrero and make high quality confectionery accessible to the local consumer".

Delmege Distributors has an islandwide distributor network with comprehensive reach servicing different channels such as traditional trade, modern trade, food service, as well as non-conventional channels such as cinemas, clubs, and other outlets. "Our distribution reach is national; we reach the North and East as well and have a network of dealers in every key town".
