Emerald releases tour collection

The news buzz last week was all about the attire of our cricketers
for the tour down under and there commercial availability. Marketing
Manager Emerald International Rimaz Marzook said that a limited number
of the Sri Lanka Cricket Australian Tour shirt has been released through
Emerald dealers islandwide.
"The material used for these shirts comes with an elastomeric finish
giving the shirt more vibrancy and durability and is available in an
array of colours, in a pin stripe design on white ground with the
national lion embroidered on the pocket along with the two national
flags on the cuff placket. Each shirt has the words "Sri Lanka Tour of
Australia 2010 - to serve as memento of this tour".
Pan Asia Bank in Matale
Pan Asia Bank opened a branch at Trincomalee Street, Matale recently
with the Mayor of Matale, Hilmy Careem as chief guest. The bank is
present in the Central Province, with branches at Kandy and Katugastota.
Pan Asia Bank with an upgraded rating of "BBB" by Fitch Ratings Lanka
has embarked upon an ambitious growth plan to better serve the diverse
communities of Sri Lanka by extending its branch network to rapidly
growing areas across the country. The Bank is focusing on introducing an

Free fuel for a year !
HSBC launched a rewarding promotion that offers all its credit
cardholders a chance to win 'free fuel' for one year when they swipe
their credit card to refuel at petrol stations across the country until
December 31.
The promotion will give all eligible cardholders a chance to win with
every multiple transaction made each week, during the promotion period.
Winners will be selected through weekly draws and the winning cardholder
will receive four times the amounts of his/her weekly fuel spend with a
maximum rebate of rupees 25,000 per month for 12 months.
As a result, eleven lucky winners will stand to receive free fuel
rebates starting January 1 to December 31, 2011.
No Limit winners to Bangkok
No Limit launched ‘Arapaima Super Waasi’ - a special promotion to
reward the loyalty of No Limit ‘Arapaima’ cardholders. Nineteen lucky
winners will be awarded holiday packages to Bangkok, Thailand. The 19
winners will comprise one winner from each of No Limit’s fashion
outlets.
‘Arapaima’ cardholders can enter the raffle draw by redeeming 200
points earned at any of its outlets inclusive of Glitz, Pallu, and
discount fashion store. For each of the additional 100 Arapaima points
redeemed against purchases, a cardholder is entitled to an additional
coupon to enter the raffle draw. The promotion will conclude on November
15.
Winners will be chosen at a grand raffle draw to be held after the
conclusion of the promotion.
Promoting healthy living

JKH launches OnThree20
The John Keells Group launched its third residential apartment
complex recently. Situated at Union Place, Colombo, the project named

over USD 65 million. The apartments will be priced at Rs. 14 million for

“Even prior to the official launch of sale, the response from the
market has been tremendous with expressions of interest received for
over 50 percent of the units,” said a company spokesman.
The project is OBI approved. Construction will commence in April and
is scheduled for completion by end of 2014.
