Swarovski Gems introduced the Pure Brilliance Cut for Zirconia last
week in Colombo together with a fashion show partnering jewellers

Swarovski has applied diamond cut standards to Zirconia. The new Pure
Brilliance Cut for Zirconia falls in line with the Gemological Institute
of America's standards for grading diamond cut quality. Swarovski, the
Pure Brilliance Cut for Zirconia offers the same brightness as Tolkowsky.
Market research was carried out in USA, Germany, India and Japan for the
Pure Brilliance cut for Zirconia jewellery.
The result was that 90% of those interviewed preferred Zirconia
jewellery set with the new Swarovski Zirconia pure Brilliance Cut even
at a higher price.Swarovski was established in 1895 by Daniel Swarovski
the first who moved to Austria with his crystal cutting machine.
The company has extended beyond its original crystal business to
include genuine gemstones and created stones for leading international
designers. Each stone is created according to standards of colour,
quality, size and shape. Each stone is unique.
