Vidura College sports teams on tour of Bangalore

Sports Tour: Three sports teams of Vidura College, Colombo will be on tour in Bangalore from December 26 to 31. Two of the teams will be in Basketball (under 12 and under 14) and one team will be the under 13 Cricket team.

The under 13 cricket team will play in the T20 cricket tournament organised by Y.M.C.A. College of Physical Education, Bangalore Cricket Academy.

Besides Vidura College from Sri Lanka, the Indian teams that participate in the T20 Cricket Tournament, will be:YMCA College of Physical Education Cricket Academy, Bangalore Young Stars Cricket Academy, St. Joseph's High School, St. Michael's High School, St. Johns' High School and St. Lucias High School - all from Bangalore.

The under 13 cricket team will comprise: U.K. Kumarasena, H.K. Kumarasekara, H. Dharmarathna, M. Vidumal, K. Abeywardena, N. Kandawinna, D. Perera, P. Wijesinghe, A. Welagedara, P. Ranasinghe, S. Gamage, D. Herath, P. Fernando, E. Weerasinghe.

The under 14 basketball team will comprise: Aminda Jayasekera, Tikiri Rathnayake, Ranjith Wijesinghe, Isika Gunaratna, Bishan Gamage, Yasintha Pelpola (Capt.), C. Wickramatunge, Aritha Jayaratne.

The under 12 basketball term will comprise: M. Adnan, Sachithra Perera, P. Jayasinghe (Capt.), Maneth Wijetunge, Mahela Weerasekera, Dantha Wijeratne, Thisal Jayatissa, T. Yasiru Rajasinghe and Hasitha Mendis.

Besides Vidura College from Sri Lanka, the under 12 and under 14 basketball tournaments will have Y.M.C.A. College of Physical Education Basketball Academy, St. Lawrence High School, St. Patricks High School, St. Mathews High School and Bangalore Basketball Academy.
