Kithruwan, Malintha crack centuries

CRICKET: Centuries from opener Kithruwan Withanage, Malintha Gajanyake and Nisal Randhika helped CCC snatch a close first innings lead over SSC on the second day of their SLC Premier League Tier 'A' cricket tournament match which continued at Maitland Place yesterday.

Bloomfield set for victory

Bloomfield put up a splendid performance on the field to put themselves on course to an outright victory over Baduraliya CC on the second day of their SLC Premier League Tier 'A' cricket tournament match which continued at Reid Avenue yesterday.

Penetrative bowling from Dinuk Hettiarachchi and Shamindra Eranga helped the defending champions Chilaw Marians CC to finish on top of the second day of their SLC Premier League Tier 'A' cricket tournament match against Saracens CC which continued at Katunayake yesterday.

Two good knocks from Sachithra Serasinghe and Muthumudalige Pushpakumara helped Tamil Union to build up a good first innings lead over Colts CC on the second day of their SLC Premier League Tier 'A' cricket tournament match which continued at Havelock Park yesterday.
