MTD Walkers PAT increases 435% in Q3
MTD Walkers Group recorded operating revenues of Rs. 653,195,579 for
the third quarter, a rise of 28 percent from the previous quarter of Rs.
508,869,745. The Company's consolidated financial statements for the
nine months ending December 31 stated a profit after tax of Rs
130,150,586 a 435 percent rise from Rs 24,302,651 in the same quarter
last year.
"Overall, I am pleased with the quarter's results in what continues
to be a challenging business environment. We are seeing economic
recovery across the nation and we expect to capitalise on these
opportunities," said Chief Financial Officer MTD Walkers Group Viraj de
Silva.
"Looking forward, I am confident that the execution in all our
operating businesses will enable us to capture the opportunities we are
seeing in the industry."
