Mother’s Day
today: They will sacrifice anything, even their very
lives, for their children. A mother’s love is unique and
enduring. Despite all deprivations and obstacles, a mother
will do her best for the children. Today is their day
“Mother’s Day” when children all over the world remember
with gratitude what mothers have done and are doing for
them. Unfortunately, some mothers in the evening of their
lives, like this elderly woman in Kalaoya are often
neglected by their sons and daughters. This Mother’s Day is
thus an opportunity to reflect on motherly love and our
obligations towards them.
