Kazakhstan beat Sri Lanka by 34 points (3 goals, 2 tries and a
penalty) to 18 (1 goal, 1 try and 2 penalties) in their crucial Five
Nation Asian Rugby encounter played at Kazakhstan yesterday.
The Lankans who needed to win to be in the ‘A’ Division of the
competition led at half-time 18/17, but went down in the second-half
conceding 17 points to give the home team their first win in the
