The publication of the book in Sri Lanka is a collaborative effort
between the author and the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited
(ANCL). The book is an invaluable resource for every Buddhist and also
for local and foreign pilgrims.
It is also a study guide for schoolchildren.
Illustrated with colour photographs, it has a wealth of information
on Buddhist sacred sites throughout the country, from the well-known to
the obscure.

written this book as a service to the Buddha Sasana. He has written two
other books on Buddhism and also maintains the Buddhist website
