Samsung launches LCD TVs

Samsung Electronics launched its Smart Hub last week in Colombo to provide a smarter, more connected viewing experience available in LED D series.

The company also launched its advanced 2011 LCD TV series. Samsung Smart hub offers easy access to music, games, movies, TV shows, pictures and almost any content online or on a network connected storage device.

Smart TV's latest product includes; Your video, deliver recommendations based on the user's viewing history; Search all, makes easy for the viewer to search for desired content on TV and other DLNA certified connected media storage devices, network PC and mobile devices and internet and video on demand devices; Web browser, offers full web browsing from the TV; Social TV, it delivers easy chatting in real time while watching the same TV content; Samsung Apps, HDTV based application store offering about 400 apps sports, entertainment, information, games or social networking Facebook, Twitter and Google Talk.

"Samsung smart TVs offer more content, more convenience and more excitement than an ordinary TVs" said President and CEO Samsung South West Asia, Jung Soo Shin.
