S. Thomas' Colpetty win two, lose two
CRICKET: S. Thomas' Prep School, Colpetty won two matches and lost
two in the under 15 division two cricket tournament recently.
S. Thomas Prep beat Seevali Central by 128 runs and it was mainly due
to a fine century by Yohan Mendis the Thomian skipper who made 132 in
helping them to make 226. Seevali Central were all out for 98 with
Thomian Premith Mendis, taking 5 for 9.
Then S. Thomas' lost to Taxila Central by 9 wickets. S. Thomas' made
82 and Taxila Central had no difficulty if making 83 for one wicket to
win.
But S. Thomas' won against Christ King College. Christ King made 116
and S. Thomas' made 117 for 2 wickets. Then Wadduwa Central beat S.
Thomas' Prep by 61 runs.
S. Thomas' Prep beat Seevali Central College by 128 runs.
S. Thomas' Prep: 226 in 43.5 overs (Yohan Mendis 132, Dinura
