performance of their senior players by becoming All-Island Inter-School
under-10 tennis champions in the tournament held at the SLTA courts.

conjunction with the Old Anandians Tennis Wing and sponsored by Bartleet

The Peterite senior teams have won the All-Island Championships five
times in-a-row in the inter-school tennis championships.
In the National Schools Tennis Tournament the Peterites played
without their No. 1. Player Nishangan Nadaraja who was sick and they had
to be content with the runners-up berth.
In the under-10 tournament, though seeded fourth behind Ananda, S.
Thomas Mount Lavinia and Royal, the Peterites came through their group
matches beating Ananda 'D', S. Thomas Mount Lavinia 'B' and Matale
International School. In the quarter-finals the Peterites beat St.
Joseph's College, Negombo.
Then in the semi-finals the Peterites beat Maliyadeva College,
Kurunegala and then beat Ananda in the final by 3 matches to 1.
