Battle of Universities - Moratuwa vs Peradeniya at Peradeniya Nov. 4

CRICKET: A battle between two Universities has become a reality. The
University of Moratuwa will take on University of Peradeniya in their
inaugural Inter-University cricket match on November 4 and 5 at
University Grounds, Peradeniya. The first-ever clash between these two
universities is expected to take the same pattern of inter-school
big-match atmosphere.
The Moratuwa University team will be captained by St. Sebastian’s
Moratuwa skipper of 2007 allrounder Janitha Jayawardena and the
vice-captain will be opening batsman Randika Perera.
The University of Peradeniya will have former cricketer of Sri
Sumangala, Panadura and past captain of Crusaders Sports Club —
Nethminda Perera and his deputy will be Priyankara Dassanayake.
