Pro LTTE diaspora tried to hoodwink the Australians:
Bare-faced lies exposed

In the picture above group picture Meena, Samapavi and Nediyavan
are circled.

Is Meena Navarangi Krishnamoorthy an unfortunate woman among
thousands, who were trapped in the LTTE’s hell-hole in Puthumathalan
before the end battle on May 19? Did she lose her unborn baby due to
shock triggered by a shell?
Until a few days ago, many Australians and also whoever who watched
the documentary featured on the ‘7.30 Report’ program of Australia’s
prime television channel - Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) may
have had sympathy for pretty Meena when she was narrating her plight in
a battle zone and also losing her baby when she was heavily pregnant due
to a shell attack, which she alleged was carried out by government
troops.
In the program she says she came forward to talk: I always believed
in Justice - she said.

Dr. Sampavi |
The documentary was screened a week prior to President Mahinda
Rajapaksa’s visit to Australia to participate at the Commonwealth Heads
of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2011 at Perth. The intention was to fix
the government again for alleged war crimes and this was clear through a
chain of activities taken by the pro-LTTE groups in Australia.
The Australian media, especially the Sydney Morning Herald and ABC,
were in a frenzy, 14 days before the CHOGM lobbying against Sri Lanka.
The first was the report handed over by John Dowd, the President of the
International Commission of Jurists, Australia (ICJA ) against Sri Lanka
to the Australian Police chief to investigate and bring about charges
against the Sri Lankan President for war crimes and crimes against
humanity. Dowd prepared the report mainly based on evidence given by
Meena who lied by saying that she went to Sri Lanka to work in an
orphanages in the Wanni.
The case filed on war crimes charges by engineer Arunachalam
Jegatheeswaran, who claimed he was in Puthumathalan, the last stretch of
land under LTTE domination before the end battle in May 2009, against
President Rajapaksa. The case filed by the Melbourne magistrates court
was rejected by Attorney General Robert McClelland who said he would be
in breach of international laws which provide immunity to heads of
diplomatic missions if he allowed the case to go ahead.
The next was the documentary by ABC. Meena was the main character in
the program.

Jegatheeshwaran |

Kuveran, Meena's husbnnd |
With Sri Lankan military intelligence digging into her life in the
Wanni, the facts she revealed to the international audience have
surfaced as absolute lies. She is not an innocent Tamil woman as she
acted in the documentary but has been identified as a hardcore LTTE
cadre trying to fix the Sri Lankan military for war crimes.
The true face of those who tell about their ‘pathetic’ experiences in
the documentary have been found by intelligence sources and there is
credible evidence proving that they are not innocent civilians but well
trained LTTE cadres.
‘Eelanadi’, was her LTTE name. Meena, who went to Australia with her
parents as an asylum seeker, returned to Sri Lanka during in 2004 to
join the Tamil Youth Organisation (TYO), which was formed by the LTTE to
appoint their youth leaders to carry out their propaganda and fund
raising abroad.
Taking the opportunity of the ceasefire between the Sri Lankan
government and the LTTE, many youth studying and working abroad arrived
in Sri Lanka in 2004 to join the LTTE to represent the outfit in their
countries. They met the Head of the LTTE’s international propaganda unit
Veerakulasingham Manivannan alias Castro who formed the TYO to recruit
youth between the ages of 18 to 30 years.
Presently she is the coordinator of the TYO in Australia.
As the LTTE leader wanted every member of the TYO to be given weapons
training they underwent military training and were educated on how to
raise funds. After their training session, some like her had returned to
their countries but others like Meena and Vani Kumari, who is in the
Channel 4 documentary, were retained in the Wanni to support the LTTE.
Navaratnam Prabhakaran, the Co-ordinator for Castro, since 2001 and
until the LTTE was destroyed, had said she was a hardcore LTTE cadre
attached to the LTTE’s women’s fighting unit- Malathi Regiment- and
later joined the TYO the international youth wing of the LTTE that
functioned under Castro.
According to Prabhakaran, Meena was the international co-ordinator of
TYO, which was personally supervised by LTTE leader Prabhakaran. She
handled LTTE foreign network that include propaganda, fund raising and
procurement until end of the war.
Prabhakaran, who joined the LTTE in 2001 and joined Castro’s
communication division as he got injured. He said the TYO was formed
during d peace talks. The LTTE conducted seminars for Tamil Youth
between 18 to 30 years about the international network during the months
of July and December every year. Meena was called ‘Meena Akka’ by junior
cadres, he said he came to the Wanni in 2004 and was recruited to the
LTTE on recommendation of Castro. She was attached to the Malathi
Regiment and received three months weapons training at Mulliwellivaikka.
She hung a cyanide capsule and underwent battle training in Pallai for
six months.

She was appointed as the women’s Affairs Co-ordinator and was sent on
a short trip to Europe. Though the ABC video tried to hide her husbands’
identity, the ex-LTTE cadre identified him as Irasurathnam Dayakaran
alias Kuveran, who joined the LTTE in 1993. She married him in 2007.
Dayakaran joined the Castro Unit in 1994 but later given the chance to
study in the Col. Kittu’s Political Science College in Jaffna, where the
best hardcore cadres were selected to follow courses. Later the College
was shifted to the Wanni and cadres were deployed in combat missions in
addition to academic studies.
A hardcore cadre of the Sodiya Regiment, another women’s unit of the
LTTE has also identified Meena as a uniformed well trained cadre, who
was married to LTTE cadre Kuveran.
Kuveran, whose picture was merged to hide his identity in the ABC
program, according to intelligence sources remains as a wanted
terrorist. He had worked under Castro and Prabhakaran.
She had worked under Nediyavan, who also worked as an intelligence
operative before he was sent abroad.
Though Meena was claiming that her unborn baby died of shock due to
shelling, the doctor who treated her referring to her medical records
said she was admitted to the Dr. Ponnambalam Memorial Hospital, where
only LTTE cadres were treated, in September 2008. According to military
intelligence, the village in which Meena was residing and the hospital
that she was treated were outside the fighting areas. The doctor said
she underwent surgery for still birth in October 2008 in the LTTE
hospital reserved for LTTE fighters.
According to the doctor, Meena came to the hospital in October 2008
complaining that there were no movements of her baby and the doctor had
advised her to remove the baby as there were no movements at all. But as
she refused it she was given two weeks to decide but within a week she
returned saying she wanted the baby removed. With her consent the baby
was removed.
She tried to twist the story saying her baby died because of the
shelling.
The LTTE Abandoned Kilinochchi in early 2009 and there were no
problem in Wanni Puthumathalan, Puthukudiriyappu and Vishuamadu in
December 2008 .
Meena, who was with the LTTE until the final days in Puthumathalan,
sought refugee as a displaced person and lived in a welfare centre in
Vavuniya but according to intelligence sources there was no trace of her
going back to Australia. With no travel document of Meena
Krishnamoorthy, it is believed that she had used a fake passport and
identity to make her way to Australia.
Kuveran surrendered to the Sri Lanka Army in May 2009 and
subsequently escaped from the Rehabilitation Centre fearing
investigations of his criminal involvements with the LTTE.
Who is the so-called displaced civilian Arunachalam Jegatheeshwaran
who claims that he saw how the military bombed civilian populated areas
including hospitals in Puthumathalan? Is he too an ‘innocent’ civilian?
The truth surfaced stronger than his lies.
Popular among his pro-LTTE circles here and abroad as ‘Jeganwaran’,
according to intelligence sources, Jegatheeshwaran, was the one who
built the key military infrastructure of the LTTE and also all
sophisticated bunkers and well fortified mansions for Prabhakaran.
Simply he was a major technical advisor tot he most ruthless terrorist
in the world. The construction work for the LTTE was carried out by the
General Engineering Company established by Jegadeeshwaran on the advice
of LTTE leadership.
He also a technical consultant by profession and now living in Sydney
had close involvement with the LTTE hierarchy since 2001. According to
intelligence sources, Jegatheeshwaran was born in Sri Lanka and obtained
Australian citizenship in year 1987.
He visited Sri Lanka in 2004, had first met Castro during a visit to
Sri Lanka and in 2005 arrived here with an Australian based Tamil
swimming coach.
Being a close aide of Castro and Prabhakaran, he finally returned to
Sri Lanka in 2007 as a volunteer and remained in Kilinochchi with his
relatives in LTTE administrative capital, Kilinochchi.
During the final days of the end battle, Prabhakaran had instructed
Jegatheeshwaran to surrender to the military with his aged parents. It
was Jegatheeshwaran who had handed over Prabhakaran’s parents at the IDP
receiving centre in Vavuniya.
Not only Jegatheeshwaran but his family was close aides of the LTTE
leader. Arunachalam Crishnakumar alias London Shanthan who was arrested
in London on charges of arms procurement and fund raising for the LTTE
terrorist outfit is said to be the younger brother of Jegatheeshwaran.
In a special operation conducted in 2007 UK Metropolitan Police from
the counter Terrorism Command arrested Shanthan. He was the LTTE leader
in the UK who operated under the title of President of the British Tamil
Association (BTA). Twenty nine year old Goldan Lambert, Head of Finance
of the BTA was also arrested with Shanthan under the UK Terrorism Act of
2000 under which bail is not allowed.
It was revealed that his daughter Brahami and son Arun are also
prominent activists of the TYO of Australia.
Brami Jegatheeswaran, also known as Brami Jegan, who was a Greens
Senate candidate.
Brami Jegatheeshwaran, Brami lived in the UK between 2004 and 2007
before returning to Australia as a radicalised Tamil Eelam lobbyist. She
has worked for the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) and Union Aid
Abroad (APHEDA) [3] . She is also linked with the Australian Tamil
Congress which is a member of the Global Tamil Forum.
The next who hid her true face was Dr. Parimala Nathan Sampavi.
According to intelligence sources, she is the live wire in Australian to
collect fund and held the task of linking pro-LTTE Tamils there with the
LTTE through the TYO.
Dr. Sampavi alias Sham is a Sri Lankan born is now a Australian
citizen had obtained her citizenship on bogus asylum status. She, a
medical practitioner, is a member of the Australian Tamil Congress, the
strongest LTTE organisation in Australia.
The formed filled by Sampavi to join the LTTE’s TYO with her
signature attesting her details is a clear evidence that she is a LTTEer
whom assigned for international propaganda work.
The documents recovered from a LTTE hideout in the Wanni by the Army
about those who joined the LTTE, had found Sampavi’s membership form
titled ‘International Coordination Centre of Liberation Tigers of Tamil
Eelam’ was issued by the LTTE International Secretariat. In the form she
has declared her consent to work for the LTTE terrorist outfit and
agreed to raise funds for this terrorist outfit through TYO.
Sampavi had participated in the LTTE Mahaveera (Heros) Day held on
November 27, 2004 and mentioned that the freedom struggle : “ should
definitely go ahead and demanding Eelam is right”.
The entire ‘drama’ in the documentary shows how pro-LTTE elements
still very much alive in their ‘dream’ have twisted reality to draw
international sympathy, to charge Sri Lanka for alleged war crimes.
The two reasons that the LTTE survived and grew strong for nearly
three decades - one was its strong leadership and the second was the
support of the pro-LTTE Tamil diaspora and LTTE’s well designed
international network. There is no doubt, that the LTTE cannot revive in
Sri Lanka in the future as it was completely annihilated and the Tamils,
including the youth just do not want Eelam and destruction anymore.
The LTTE now operates internationally through the GTF, British Tamil
Forum, World Tamil Movement, International Council for Canadian Tamils,
Canadian Tamil Congress. TGTE, Tamil Eelam People’s Assembly and
International Tamil Network.
The LTTE’s financial arm and propaganda divided among them and Fr.
S.J. Emmanuel, the German-based Catholic priest wanted to form the
Global Tamil Forum to work for their cause together and started
attacking the government while based in their stronghold UK.
According to intelligence sources, he was behind the Channel 4
documentaries that accuse the government for allege war crimes and
urging an international probe.
The 77-year-old Fr. Emmanuel, who was a very close aide of
Prabhakaran, started his campaign against the government in Canada.
Engaged in a global campaign against Sri Lanka, Fr. Emmanuel was refused
entry on arrival at the Chennai International Airport, India on October
11. He was having a valid visa issued by Indian high commission in
Germany but the Indian officials in Chennai airport sent him back
without any valid explanation.
The sources said two weeks prior to President Rajapaksa’s visit to
take part in CHOGM in Perth, Fr. Emmanuel was in Australian and they
suspect he was organising the law suit against the President and others.
However, the ABC documentary is a clear evidence how the LTTE
international operatives manipulate media with false information through
misleading programs. The sources said responsible media like ABC need to
double check their sources before tarnishing the image of a government
which destroyed ruthless terrorists and rescued thousands of people who
suffered under terrorism.
The information got from former LTTE cadres and also photographic
evidence about Meena, Sampavi and Jegatheeshwaran has proved that the
ABC was misled by the LTTE remnants.
They have missed the real story and the famous TV channel has
tarnished the image of a responsible government which fought against
three-decades of terror.
However, the law enforcement authorities have been informed by their
Australian Counterparts on an inquiry on these Australian citizens and
their involvements to propagate a banned terrorist organisation.
Meanwhile, intelligence sources said the Australian legal authorities
have confirmed these individuals are sympathetic to the terror outfit. On
the other hand it is pathetic that pro-LTTEers like Meena are able to
mislead international legal experts like Dowd, President of the ICJA
with her concocted stories. |
