Shiham Marikar - Director (Trade Promotion) NCE. |
The event focused at the growing hotel industry in Sri Lanka which
displayed a wide range of supplies and NCE took up a pavilion with the
view to promoting locally manufactured products to the hospitality
industry.
Apart from being an exhibition of supplies, the event was filled with
many sub events that enabled visitors to broaden their knowledge base
and prepare themselves for the anticipated growth of the industry.
"NCE was very happy to be a part of this show as we met our
objectives. Tt was focused on target audience, and a show that was
organised to the highest standards giving us the feeling of taking part
in an international event.
Even though many are exporters, members see great potential in the
growing domestic market and they are beginning to divert some of their
resources in capturing this market.
They have given us feedback on the show and we are very positive of
the future of HHF" said Shiham Marikar - Director - NCE Trade Promotion.
Its visitor campaign, was well executed by the partnership of Pico &
Montgomery Worldwide which bring a wealth of experience by staging trade
events in many international markets, promotions were directed at
professionals engaged in hotels, hospitality, including food and
beverage procurement, and tourism projects in Sri Lanka and South Asia.
This first-ever exhibition of this nature in Sri Lanka brought
together all stakeholders under one roof. Thus, it provided the perfect
platform for relevant stakeholders to increase their market share to the
next level, to showcase their products and services to a very large
target audience.
NCE members - International Food Stuff Company, Midaya Ceramic
Company, Aqua Marines International, Vintage Teas, Rainco and PEE BEE
Management Services participated.
