Colombo HA - Defence Services clash in semis

Colombo Hockey Association XI will meet Defence Services XI in the first semi-final of the 38th Junior National Hockey Championship. The tourney continues for the second day at the Asgiriya Cricket Stadium yesterday. Matale HA XI will meet Sri Lanka (Gold). In the other semi-final. These two matches will commence at 9.30 a.m. Today at the same venue.

1. Sri Lanka Schools (Gold) XI beat Gampaha (12-0), 2. Colombo HA XI beat Uva XI (5-2), 3. Defence Services XI drew with Matale HA XI (1-all), 4. Wennappuwa HA XI beat Kandy HA XI (2-1).

Quarter-finals

1. Colombo HA XI beat Gampaha HA XI (11-0), 2. Sri Lanka Schools (Gold) XI beat Sri Lanka Maroons (2-1), 3. Matale HA XI beat Wennappuwa HA XI (4-0), 4. Defence Services XI beat Mercantile XI (3-1), the Finals will be held today at 4.00 p.m.
