Cycle rickshaw rides for tourists

Following the boom in tourist arrivals, Bernard Tours and Travels (Pvt) Ltd. are introducing cycle rickshaw as a novel concept to attract tourists. Initially the concept will be introduced covering the city of Colombo and Galle Face Green.

For this purpose Bernard Tours and Travels (Pvt) Ltd. have brought in 10 cycle rickshaws from India.

The novel concept which is economic and pollution free, will no doubt be a big attraction not only for foreign tourists, but also Sri Lankan families, Chairman, Bernard Tours, Anjalo Mendis said. As a second step, the company will introduce cycle rickshaw rides for tourists in Galle and Kandy, Mendis said.
