Avani Bentota welcomes 1000th guest

The Avani Bentota Resort and Spa recently recorded the arrival of its 1000th guest, two-and -a-half months after its launch on December 1 last year. Located on the southern coast, the Avani Bentota Resort and Spa - was launched by Serendib Leisure in partnership with Minor International.

This was former Hotel Serendib Bentota. Rs. 650m was spent on refurbishment.

The January 2012 issue of 'Travel and Leisure' magazine has classified Avani Bentota as one of the hottest travel destinations of 2012.

It is situated on what is described as "the best beach strip along Sri Lanka's southern coastline" . Managing Director, Serendib Leisure Management, Ltd Ranil de Silva said, "As an organisation, we have always strived to offer good value to our guests, as we feel that this is key to building a sustainable business model.
