Emirates launches 'Hello Tomorrow'
Emirates launched a new global brand platform and direction, themed
'Hello Tomorrow' . Emirates is embarking on an integrated marketing
communications campaign with a new brand promise as the company
continues its evolution from a travel brand to a global lifestyle brand.
Designed for the age of consumer engagement and empowerment, 'Hello
Tomorrow' is about inspiring people to greet tomorrow’s unlimited
potential, now. “Hello” is a greeting, an invitation to a person, a
place or an experience. “
SriLankan revamps European routes
SriLankan Airlines recorded certain capacity adjustments to its
European route network, taking into consideration the rise in fuel and
operational costs and economic indicators in the EU region.
According to the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), a decline
in travel and tourism of 0.3 percent is expected across the European
Union in 2012, although it will be propped by growth in newer emerging
economies in the eastern bloc as well as Russia.
As austerity measures are introduced in some countries, consumer
spending is expected to reduce.
Free inspection campaign for Suzuki, Suzuki/Maruti in N'Eliya
Associated Motorways (Pvt) Ltd., sole agents for Suzuki and Suzuki
Maruti vehicles will conduct a free inspection campaign coupled with a
free mobile breakdown service within 10Kms from the Nuwara Eliya town
centre on April 16 and 17 .
By locating a technical support team in Nuwara Eliya during these two
days, this campaign titled “We are here for you”, it is expected to take
care of Suzuki and Suzuki/ Maruti vehicles.
Asia Tea Packaging launch Tannin
Asia Tea Packaging Limited, a subsidiary of the Asia Capital Group
recently launched their own tea brand – Tannin, a label fully owned by
the company.
Tannin will be 100 percent Ceylon tea available locally as well as
for export to international markets. ATP will initially concentrate on
CIS countries, the Middle East and the Far East. The Tannin brand will
have four ranges such as Black Tea, Fruit, Herbal and Organic.
Etisalat hosts elite club members

Etisalat flew their Elite Club members to the Eagles' Golf Links in
China Bay to enjoy the first ever tournament to be held on the newest
greens of Sri Lanka's golfing circuit. Fifty three golfers were flown to
China Bay on the inaugural Etisalat Elite Club Golf Tour to Eagles' Golf
Links.
Pan Asia Bank opens branch in Thalawathugoda

Pan Asia Bank opened its 68th Branch in Thalawathugoda. The chief
guest was Minister of Petroleum Industries Susil Premajayanth.The guest
of honor was director and Chief Executive Officer of Pan Asia Bank,
Claude Peiris. Kanthi Kodikara The Mayor of the Maharagama Town
Council,Upali Kodikara ,Western Province Councillor Sarath Sumanasekera
were present.
Commercial Bank goes to Marawila

The opening of the first service point of the Commercial Bank of
Ceylon in 2012 took place recently in Marawila, expanding the Bank's
islandwide presence to 214 service points. The new service point, at
Horagolla, Marawila is equipped with two Automated Teller Machines that
are linked to the Bank's network of 500 ATMs.
Here Deputy General Manager - Operations of Commercial Bank, Sanath
Bandaranayake accepts a deposit from a customer at the branch. The
Manager of the Marawila Branch of Commercial Bank Thushara Jayaratne and
the Bank's Senior Regional Manager Colombo North - W R Srikantha are
also inthe picture.
Nippolac Wasana :Warama second draw
The second draw of Nippolac Wasana Warama was held recently with the
participation of Managing Director of Nippolac group of companies Raja
Hewabowala at Nippolac Towers Rajagiriya.
Thirty-two lucky winners were selected. Chamika Asanka represented
the Inland Revenue Department while Yasas De Silva and Mihiran Opathe
represented the Nippolac Group of companies Mihiran Opathe said that the
names of winners will be published after routine verifications are
carried out in line with rules and regulations of the competition
