CRICKET: Royal Institute won the 11th inter-International Schools
under-13 cricket tournament when they beat Lyceum International School,
Wattala by 39 runs in the final played at Lyceum International School
ground at Wattala. Batting first Royal Institute made 182 for 5 wicket
in 40 overs and Lyceum International School replied with 144 in 35.4
overs.
Royal Institute: 182 for 5 wkts in 40 overs (Mihan Amarakoon
52 not out, Vihanga A. Ambepitiya 57, Dinith Anjula 3 for 45).
Lyceum International Wattala: 144 in 35.4 overs (S.S.
Priyankara 52, Thisen Nanayakkara 4 for 22).
So, Royal Institute, Colombo won the winners trophy and Lyceum
Wattala emerged runners-up.
