Dr. Mahipala - 'Man of the Year'

Additional Secretary of the Health Ministry Dr P.G. Mahipala won the 'Man of the Year 2012' award presented by the American Biographical Institute for distinctive accomplishments in the medical field.

He beat professionals from 70 countries to win the accolade.

Dr. Mahipala obtained his MBBS degree from the Peradeniya University in 1983 and Msc. (Community Medicine) from the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine, Colombo University in 1995.

He has also obtained Post Graduate Diplomas in various subjects from several local State universities.
