CRICKET: The Cooperative Cricket Team of Gampola who emerged
champions in the Central Province Inter-Cooperative Softball Cricket
Tournament held in connection with the 90th International Cooperative
Day which falls on July 7th. The following teams participated -
Kundasale, Gampola, Thalatuoya, Harispattuwa and Udadumbara. In the
final, Gampola beat Kundasale by 22 runs.
GAMPOLA COOPERATIVE: 84 for 7 wkts in 10 overs (Eranga Indunil
29, Lakshitha Haputhanthrige 220.
KUNDASALE: 62 in 9.2 overs (L. de Silva 30; Akila Pradeep 4
