Suresh-Most Muscular Man

BODYBUILDING: Suresh Karunatilleke of the Sri Lanka Air Force Sports
Club emerged at the championship Western Province Most Muscular Man 2012
which was conducted by the Sri Lanka Masters’ Bodybuilding and Fitness
Association held at the Western Province Aesthetic Resort (Nada Hall),
recently.

Karunatilleke, participating under 65kg category, became the overall
champion in the tournament. Apart from the ‘Most Muscular Man
Championship’, he clinched two other awards offered for the Best Leg and
Best Chest. N.P. Hewawasam of power fitness won the award for Best
Abdominal and Best Back.
Meanwhile, in the Slim Girl Competition, Shanika Priyadarshani came
on top defeating Sithara Dilrukshi. Nadeesha Dhananjaya secured the
third place.
The championship was organized by the Sri Lanka Masters’ Bodybuilding
Association headed by former Mr Sri Lanka Thilak Jayaweera. Former
Tourism Minister Achala Jagoda, famous actor Ravindra Randeniya and Sri
Lanka Bodybuilding Association President Kapila Kumara was guest of
honour at the event.

70kg: 1. Amila Ushantha (Thieves Gym), 2. Sisira Priyankara (Chandra

75kg: 1. Chaminda Peiris (SL Air Force), 2. Madhuki Sameera (SL Air
