Malicious campaigns boomerang
The concocted stories of the Opposition to gain petty political
mileage has boomeranged. Ra-Blue last week advised the Green candidates
to refrain from criticising the governing types without concrete
evidence as such malicious campaigns would run counter to their party's
polls campaign.
Wedding Sam runs short of slogans
Ra-Blue asked Wedding Sam to get a fresh slogan for the polls
campaign but it did not go down well with the latter. "Even the
registration and annual fees for news websites too have been slashed. We
may now have to think of something different," a dejected Sam said.
Love-Slave goes for different campaign
Saa-Jeet, the Love-Slave has embarked on a different campaign while
You-En-Pee seniors are engaged in polls work. Love-Slave has approached
candidates individually for pow-vows and offers small-scale financial
grants. "This is not from the party but from my personal funds," he told
a Green candidate from Anuradhapura who had politely rejected the offer.
Soo-me takes on Lull-Kanth
Soo-me the One-sa is facing a severe leadership crisis as the Bell
Boys grapple with their election campaign. Lull-Kanth said he will lead
the North Central campaign to secure the highest number of PC members
though Soo-me is not making an active contribution. "You even failed to
secure your seat at the general election," Soo-me hit back at his trade
union wing leader.
