Kurunegala, Jaffna districts in debating competition

The final round of the All Island Sinhala and Tamil medium debating comeptition on Adolescent Sexuality and Reporoductive Health, was held recently at the BMICH, udner the patroange of Youth Affairs and Skills Development Minister Dullas Alahapperuma and United Nations Resident Representative Subine Nandy.

The competition was held in both Sinhala and Tamil mediums.

The Kurunegala District team won first place in the Sihala medium competiton, while Jaffna district won first palce in the Tmil medium compeition. The debating comeptition was organsied by the National Youth Services Council, in collabroation with the United Nations Development Fund and Sri Lanka Family Planning Association.

The competition was held under district, provincial and national levels and Kurunegala and Kalutara District teams were selected for the final round in the Sinhala medium and Jaffna and Nuwara Eliya teams were selected for the final round from the Tamil medium.
