Minister discusses economic challenges with ADB team

Senior Minister for International Monetary Cooperation Dr. Sarath
Amunugama met the Asian Development Bank (ADB) officials visiting Sri
Lanka at his office in the Ministry of Finance and Planning to discuss
current economic challenges and the progress of the North-East
development activities.
The ADB team comprises Maurin Sitorus, BGV Team Leader, Executive
Director for Armenia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Indonesia, Kyrgyz Republic,
New Zealand, Samoa and Tonga;Ashok Lahiri, BGV Member, Executive
Director for Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Laos, Tajikistan
and Turkmenistan;Kazuhiko Koguchi, BGV Member, Executive Director for
Japan;Jerome Joseph Louis Destombes, BGV Member, Executive Director for
Belgium, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland;Richard John
Anthony Karol Edwards, BGV Member, Alternate Executive Director for
Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Turkey and the United Kingdom;Khin Khin
