By Sajeewa JAYAKODY
S. Thomas’ College rowers showed their mastery in rowing by winning
the Regatta and the Boat Race at the 39th annual Royal-Thomian Regatta
on Saturday on the Beira Lake, Colombo, racking up a team total of 38
points to cruise comfortably ahead of Royalists, who had 14 points.
Before commencing the prestigious Boat Race, the points tally saw Mt.
Lavinia rowers lead by 26 to 14. Thus the Thomians regained the T.N.
Fernando Trophy after three years.
