Chevron donates air mattresses

Chevron Marketing Manager, Ms Upuli Kulasiri donates the first unit to the Director
of the National Hospital, Dr. Anil Jasinghe. Dr. Chandrakumar, Senior Consultant

Chevron donated several ‘air mattresses’ for patients at the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (Recovery Care Unit) of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka. “The air mattress is a necessity for all SICU patients who are critically ill, to prevent bed sores and deep vein thrombosis of prolonged immobilised patients.

The air mattress units donated by Chevron to the National Hospital Recovery Care Unit will help facilitate a speedy recovery for patients after surgery”, a spokesman for Chevron said.
