Madyawediyakuge Asipatha at Punchi Theatre
Namel Weeramuni's "Madyawediyakuge Asipatha" will be staged at the
Namel Malini Punchi Theatre, Borella on December 4 at 6.45 p.m.
The play is written, directed and produced by Namel Weeramuni.
The cast includes Lalindra Dissanayake, Anil K. Wijesignhe Dulanjali
Wijesena, Namel Weeramuni, Upul Sanjeewa, Senevirathne Bandara, Pinsara
Samarasekera, Ishara Wickramasignhe, Darsana Obeysekera, Lakshman Udaya
Kumara, Dilini Prasadini, Turulika Gimhani, Damith Wilegoda, Buddhika
Prematilaka, Sangeeth Perera, Jayashan Rajitha.
Music is composed and directed by Visharada Jayatissa Alahakoon for
the lyrics written by Namel. Somasiri Beddegama supports with a few
others in the orchestra. Choreography is by the late Dr. Wasantha Kumara

Anjana Ranjana at Bishop's College
Nalaka Anjana Kumara's musical fiesta 'Anjana Ranjana' will go on the
boards at the Bishop's College auditorium on December 14 at 6.30 p.m.
Pandit W.D. Amaradeva, Victor Ratnayake, Karunaratne Divulgane, Nanda
Malini, Deepika Priyadarshini Peiris, Jagath Wickramasinghe, Nirosha
Virajini, Kasun Kalhara, Pradeepa Dharmadasa, Indika Upamali, Yamuna
Vinodini, Krishantha Erandaka and Amal Perera will participate in the
show.

Dr. Anura Chandrasiri's Deiyo Sakki will be staged at the Samudra
Devi Balika Vidyalaya auditorium, Nugegoda on December 5 at 8.30 a.m.
and 11 a.m. The cast includes Bandula Wijeweera, Gunadasa Madurasinghe,
Menike Attanayaka, Chintani Hindurangana, Anoma Kumuduni, Nirmani
Perera, Chaminda Prasad and Venuri Wijeweera.
Rassa saha Parassa goes to Ragama
Rohana Dandeniya's Rassa saha Parassa will be staged at the Vijaya
Kumaratunge Memorial Hall, Ragama on December 8 at 2.30 p.m. and 6.30
p.m.
The cast includes Sriyantha Mendis, Nissanka Diddeniya, Richard
Manamudali, Madini Malwattage, Jayantha Bandara, Dimuthu Chinthaka,
Jayantha Premadasa, Pradeep Arugama and Samantha Paranaliyanage.
Sokari at Punchi Theatre

Jaliya Rajapakshe's Sokari, an old folk drama in Sri Lanka, which was
set according to the rural traditions of Shanthikarma that were
performed to Goddess Paththini seeking fertility and prosperity, will be
staged at Namel Malani Punchi Theatre, Borella today at 3.30 p.m. and
6.45 p.m.
