Arpico donates total water solution

Richard Peiris and Company PLC (Arpico) recently donated a total water solution to Welewewa Sumedha Vidyalaya in Anamaduwa which coincided with the UN International Day for Eradication of Poverty organised by the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) Colombo.

Under this program UNIC set up a model farm at the school premises for the benefit of the schoolchildren to enhance their agriculture acknowledge using modern technology and the total water solution was provided using an Arpico water tank, Arpitec water pump and Arpico PVC pipes and fittings.

Business Development Manager, Local Manufacture Distribution Sector of Richard Peiris and Company, Dilshan Abeysekera said, "Arpico which is one of the leading providers of water solutions has rendered an enormous service and is dedicated to the betterment of the livelihoods of people.

We make it our priority to have clean water available at important public places."

"Recent research carried out by our company has identified that most of the rural schools lacked access to proper water systems. We are committed to make it our priority to focus on other such projects in the near future," he said.
