Candela wins e-Swabhimani Award

The interactive education tool 'Candela' which was launched recently
in Sri Lanka was adjudged winner in the e-Learning and Education
category at the e-Swabhimani National Best e-Content Awards ceremony.
The e-Swabhimani is an initiative of the Information Communication
Technology Agency of Sri Lanka to recognise excellence in digital
content creation.
"It is available in the form of a CD which can be loaded on to any
computer to provide children with a learning experience. Candela
learning tools are based on the Education Ministry's official curriculum
for science," a spokesman for Candela Technologies said.
"They are designed to provide children with an engaging, rewarding
and motivating learning experience. Candela educates and motivates the
child to learn by creating an environment that is stimulating and fun,"
he said.
