Minister Karaliyadda off to Cambodia

Child Development and Women's Affairs Minister Tissa Karaliyadda will participate at the "Asian and African Parliamentarians' Capacity Development on the Integration of Population Issues in to National Development Frameworks to be held from January 22 to 25 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The event has been organised by the Asian Population and Development Association, the Secretariat of the Japan Parliamentarians Federation for Population and the Tokyo office of the Asian Forum of the Parliamentarians on Population and Development.

APDA is working to enhance the capacity of the parliamentarians in their effort to address population with the support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Japan Trust Fund.
