Deegoda - Colombo District chess champion

S.R. Deegoda of St. Thomas’ College became the Champion for Colombo District, All Island and Super 30 championship in School Chess Association tournament for under 11 for year 2012. He is the St. Thomas’ college chess champion winning the S.E. Satarasinghe Memorial challenge trophy for chess for 2012.

S.R. Deegoda represented Sri Lanka ar the Asian School chess tournament held in New Delhi India last month.
