Abans introduces Dongfeng commercial vehicles

Abans Auto, a part of the Abans Group of Companies, the agent in Sri Lanka for Dongfeng commercial vehicles, made with Nissan technology, has introduced new heavy duty trucks to the market.

"The Dongfeng Kingrun has superior comfort, fuel efficiency, reliability, safety and durability. It is available in two models, Full body trucks and cab and chassis with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 12,000 kg and 14,500 kg.

The Dongfeng Captain freezer truck with a factory-built carrier freezer unit and a 7,200kg GVW, is built on a fiberglass reinforced body with customisation available for individual needs. The hydraulic lifter is also available for this vehicle on customer request," a spokesman for Abans Auto said.

"The Dongfeng Garbage collector truck has a steel cab, mechanical cab suspension, adjustable driver's seat with suspension and powered by a Cummins diesel engine.

The garbage compactor unit is made of high strength steel and its rugged application is suited for Sri Lankan conditions."
