Siddhalepa sales conference

The Siddhalepa Group of Companies held its annual marketing conference recently at Kingsbury Hotel to increase awareness and reward the group's sales representatives. Over 300 sales staff participated in the conference.

Chief guest, Secretary to the Treasury, Dr. P.B. Jayasundera said that the contribution of private sector industries was important in taking the country forward on its path to economic development.

"The services rendered by the Siddhalepa Group of Companies in expanding its export market, and create employment and thus strengthen the national economy were laudable", he said.

Many more indigenous business enterprises are needed in the next decade for continued national economic development, he said.

Chairman of the Siddhalepa Group Victor Hettigoda presented gold sovereigns and medals to sales representatives who had met sales targets.
