Eleven Indian companies at Colombo Yarn and Fabric Show
Eleven Indian companies under the banner of the Cotton Textiles
Export Promotion Council, Mumbai, a premier organisation in the Indian
textile sector, would participate at the fourth Colombo International
Yarn and Fabric Show to be held from February 28 to March 2 at the Sri
Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre (SLECC), Colombo.
Indian companies participating in the show are: Acme International
Ltd. (Gujarat) dealing in raw cotton, fabrics - knitted and woven, home
textiles, denims and garments; Birla Century, Mumbai dealing in cotton
poplin, cambric, voiles, yarn dyed shirting and suiting, solids,
bottom-weights, cotton linen products, linen, milange and lycra, bed
linen and home furnishing products with special weaves and finishes and
cotton yarn and indigo denim fabrics; Chennai Textiles dealing in cotton
yarn, dyed clothing fabrics, home textiles and bed linen; Kikani Exports
Pvt. Ltd., of Coimbatore dealing in cotton raw yarns, synthetic raw and
blended yarns, cotton woven and knitted raw fabrics; K.G. Denim Limited
(Tamil Nadu) dealing in denim, solid dyed goods in shirting and bottom
weights, garments and home textile goods; Khemtex International, Mumbai
dealing in cotton and poly cotton shirting fabrics; Loyal Textile Mills
Ltd. (Tamil Nadu) dealing in yarn, woven fabrics and knitted fabrics;
Mafatlal Industries Ltd., Mumbai dealing in cotton voiles, satins,
poplins, dobbies; Minaxi Textiles Ltd. (Gujarat) dealing in fancy cotton
suiting, codroy, shirting, cotton dobby suiting, cotton viscose suiting,
all fabrics in lycra quality; Winsome Textile Industries Ltd. (Punjab)
dealing in cotton yarn and its blends with silk, wool, modal, linen,
nylon, smartcell fibres, rayon and polyester in raw white, melange and
dyed (yarn and fibre dyed), tri-blend yarns, flake or chill yarns, slub
yarns, siro, Dri-release, other speciality yarns, circular knitted
fabrics in yarn-dyed and Melanges; and the Handicrafts and Handlooms
Exports Corporation of India Ltd. dealing in handicrafts, handlooms, RTW
and carpets.
The event would provide an opportunity to local textile entrepreneurs
dealing in fabrics, yarns and garments to visit the Indian Pavilion and
have one-to-one business discussions and new trade contacts.
The Indian exhibitors would display samples of yarn, yarn-dyed
fabrics, grey fabrics, knitted fabrics, denim fabrics, fancy knitted
fabrics and 100 percent cotton as well as blended fabrics.
