Road race of Royal today

The Annual Road Race, one of the most looked forward events of the Annual Athletic Meet of Royal College will be worked off today, commencing from 6.30 a.m.

There will be over 2,500 athletes taking part in the race covering a distance of 5lm and is the biggest Road Race conducted by a school in the country.

There are three road race routes for eight age group categories: under-12, 13 - Junior race, under-14, 15 - Intermediate race, under-16, 17, 19, 21 - Senior race.

Teacher-in-Charge - Athletics, Royal College, Anusha Halangoda said all arrangements have been finalized to conduct the annual road race on a grand scale under the guidance of Principal, Upali Gunasekera.
