HP launches ElitePad 900

HP launched ElitePad 900, a hand held device, to the market recently.

"The ElitePad which is designed for corporates and public sector enterprises features the optional HP ElitePad smart jacket which adds connectivity options and a ultra-slim battery for longer usage," a spokesman for the company said.

"The pad is an ultra-thin, light weight tablet devised for Windows 8 that delivers features for IT managers and employees. It offers serviceability, enhanced security and manageability found in HP Elite PCs."

"It has a 10.1 inch diagonal display, weighing 0.68 kilograms and 9.2mm width.

The 16-by-10 ratio maximises the display area for viewing business applications and video content.

The ElitePad provides power efficiency and smartphone convenience with compatibility for Windows applications and easy integration into IT environments," he said.

HP AEC Printing and Personal Systems Category Manager, Christian Edmond said that the HP Elite Pad will help meet business challenges and fulfill consumer demand.
