Loolecondura Tamil Vidyalaya, Deltota softball cricket champs

Loolecondura Tamil Vidyalaya, Deltota emerged champions when they beat Mahamaya Girls College by one wicket in the Kandy District Softball Cricket Tournament final played at St. Anthony's Girls College Grounds.

Loolecondura Vidyalaya got Mahamaya Girls College out for 70 runs in 10 overs and topped the required runs losing 9 wickets. The annual tournament was organised by the Department of Education, Kandy. Loolecondura School had qualified to play in the provincial tournament to be held shortly.
