Mercedes-Benz pageant on Sept 15

The Mercedes-Benz pageant will be held on September 15 at the Nelum Pokuna, Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre. Driving-in, in a Mercedes-Benz is the pass to the Mercedes-Benz Pageant - irrespective of the model, age, condition and even the type of Mercedes-Benz vehicle. This year's pageant is expected to draw over 400 vehicles and 1,500 people, the organisers said.

The pageant will be open to Mercedes-Benz cars driving-in at 7am on Sunday, and will be open to the public at 10.30am. Mercedes-Benz owners and their families will have the opportunity to witness Mercedes-Benz vehicles from the pre-war era to the latest, including the flagship SLS AMG.

A highlight of the event will be the display of the New A-Class and the New E-Class from DIMO. Each car participating in the event, will be entitled to a participation certificate and a specially crafted souvenir.
