This picture of two curious little boys were captured through the lenses of our staff photographer, Thilak Perera while they were leisurely cycling down a road in Matale.

Back cover: Sucking nectar from a grain

Our staff photographer, Sudam Gunasinghe focussed his camera while this beautiful butterfly was sucking the nectar from a sheaf of organic paddy. The paddy is grown now on the banks of the Diyawanna Oya after the area was transformed into an aesthetic and agricultural area attracting local tourists by the number. It is reported that artificial fertiliser is not used on the paddy that is cultivated on the banks of the Diyawanna.
