The Sri Lanka-Singapore Business Council (SLSBC) of the Ceylon
Chamber of Commerce with the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO)
conducted a survey involving selected Singapore companies successfully
operating in Sri Lanka, to encourage bilateral trade between Sri Lanka
and Japan and to enhance Japan's direct investments in Sri Lanka. This
initiative is the first of its kind by the SLSBC. The Council will set
up strategic and mutually beneficial partnerships by expanding
co-operation with similar trade organisations including those of
countries with the potential for increasing bilateral trade and
investment in Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lanka-Singapore Business Council will strengthen its links
with such organisations to broaden its reach for more business
opportunities for the benefit of its members. |
