Anverally Tea wins four NCE Export awards
Anverally Tea won four awards at the 21st Annual NCE Export Awards
2012. The four awards include the Gold award for the Most Outstanding
Exporter of 2012, Gold in the Overall Tea Sector, Tea Value Added Export
sector and the Silver award in the Tea Bulk Exports sector.
Initiated in 1993, the NCE Export Awards are held annually by the
National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka to recognise and reward the
achievements in the export industry.
This year 146 applications were received and were judged by an expert
panel of judges under the criteria of Export Performance, Market and
Product Development, Valve Addition, Effective Management of Marketing
and Capital, Brand Marketing and Innovation.
"Anverally Tea emerged as one of the prominent winners, in the Tea
Export sector, by winning the most awards", a company spokesman said.
"This award recognises the dedication and commitment that my team and I
have achieved in ensuring that customers receive the best quality tea at
a reasonable price," said Anverally and Sons (Pvt) Ltd, Chairman,
