Medical insurance for senior citizens in North
Amăna Takaful PLC, recently teamed up with Northern Central Hospital
to offer insurance services to patients seeking treatment in the
hospital based in Jaffna.

The MoU was signed by CEO, Amana Takaful, Fazal Ghaffoor, and Founder
Chairman, Northern Central Hospital, S P Samy. Senior officials of both
organisations were present.
In 2013 Amăna Takaful, a composite insurer and a pioneer of the
Takaful way of insurance in Sri Lanka launched KruthaGuna a
hospitalisation insurance cover for parents and elders above 55 years.
People of the North will now benefit from a tailor-made solution, Sei
Nandri, which will be exclusively available to them through Northern
Central Hospital in Jaffna.
CEO, Amăna Takaful, Fazal Ghaffoor said, ''We recognise the ever
increasing ageing population of Sri Lanka and the resulting pressure on
the social security net. This aspect will be a challenge for people at
retirement. With today's fast paced society and the varying priorities,
many of us tend to neglect the obligations towards our parents and

who become helpless when hospitalised."
