Dear children,

Last week we gave you information about the World Thinking Day and also the pioneers of Scouting and Girl Guiding, Lord and Lady Baden Powell. This week too we give you more information about Girl Guiding. Girl Guides begin as Brownies. Most schools have Brownie Groups. They then become Girl Guides. Whether you are a Guide or a Scout, you learn many life skills which will help you in later life. It also teaches you team spirit which is essential when you become adults. If you have not joined any of these movements, it will be a good thing to enrol and be involved in either Guiding or Scouting.
