Muthu elected to Ex-Co of Young Diplomats in London

The Second Secretary of the Sri Lanka High Commission in the United
Kingdom, Muthu Padmakumara was elected to the 2014 Executive Committee
of the Young Diplomats (YDL) in London last week.
YDL has a membership of over 600 young diplomats who are currently
based in the UK. Since its inception in 2003 as a means of networking
amongst young diplomats based in London, many of its past members have
continued in the field of international relations, progressing within
the service of their government or joining international organisations.
A graduate of the York University, Muthu is the only South Asian and
the first Sri Lankan to be elected into the executive body of the Young
Diplomats in London. She is an author and communications consultant,
currently serving at the Sri Lankan High Commission in London. |
