More Mahindodaya labs

Over 17 Mahindodaya Science laboratories are being built in the Maho education zone. Ten Science laboratories have already been constructed. There are 750 such Science laboratories have been built in the island.

The Ministry of Education has launched this project with assistance from the World Bank.

A sum of Rs. 15 million has to be spent to complete a Mahindodaya Science laboratory with its equipment being supplied.

There are 184 government schools in the Maho education zone where over 53,000 students attend them at present, it is reported.
