Trinity in hard-fought 15-9 win over Wesley

Trinity beat Wesley 15-9 the winners had to fight hard for the win, at Pallekelle Stadium, as both teams went all out and had be satisfied with a score of 3-all at half time. Trinitians had to do everything in their power to make this game in their favour. Most of the good work for the winning team came though the forwards yesterday as the pack made their strong advantage in size and weight against the Wesley

ruggerites, the second half was much the same as the first.

The keys for the win were that obviously Trinity's defence, which was good. Both teams showed good display of thinking power.

Trinity also enjoyed a greater share of possession, Wesley team whose strength was in their agile three quarters failed to utilize

their potential to maximum advantage It was in rucks and mauls that the Trinitians held the upper hand. In this game specially

their forwards, were the most notably their third row who dictated the pace and the pattern of the game.
